I have over 20 years of professional radio and television experience in on-air and technical capacities. I have worked as an announcer, audio technician, video editor, and other assorted television production duties. I am a producer at the Georgia Radio Reading Service (GaRRS), the statewide radio reading network for the blind. I operate the audio console, record and edit programs and promos, and also handle live broadcasting duties.
I am also a freelance video editor and own a 17-inch MacBook Pro with the Final Cut Studio suite. I also use Adobe Audition 2.0 and Soundtrack Pro to record, mix and edit projects for air. I hold a B.A. in Journalism from Georgia State University and a minor in Speech with emphasis in public speaking. My voiceover and editing demos are available upon request. You may reach me at jaoatlanta@att.net
